Root Cause needed UI/UX and visual design updates to bring out the group’s creative approach to problem solving and thought leadership for the non-profit space.

The platform provides rich educational content and inspiring project case studies, that needed to be connected and cataloged in a way that would make it easier for users to discover those that were relevant and interesting to them. Social sharing features throughout the site help the organization enable others to share and spread its message.

A variety of content components were developed to support showing Root Cause projects, integrated with news, maps, quotes and testimonials in a modular and flexible system.

From a visual standpoint the color palette was brightened giving the site an optimistic feel. Whitespace and colorful section breaks were used to help manage long form content pages. Custom illustrations highlighted the creative approach of the organization.
